To ensure and maintain an effective and sustainable Voluntary Health Scotland.

• VHS operates in accordance with best practice in voluntary sector governance and accountability, as developed by SCVO. Our annual report can be accessed here.

• VHS is represented on the policy committee and governing body of SCVO.

• We have in place policies and procedures for the effective financial and operational management of VHS.

• Staff receive regular supervision, undergo an annual appraisal process and have in place personal objectives and continuing professional development plans that reflect the needs and priorities of Voluntary Health Scotland.
