Better Cancer Care - A Discussion. 12th February - 5th May A national discussion has been launched on future priorities for cancer care in Scotland. This will give patients, carers, healthcare professionals and the public the opportunity to reflect on the progress made in recent years, acknowledge some of the challenges that remain and help the Scottish Government to focus activity on improving services. | Improving the physical health of those with mental illess . 5th February - 14th May Among other issues the draft report covers and includes: the evidence base on the need for change; aspects of care management; proposals for review of performance; steps to ensuring equity and other dimensions. The report also makes 6 clear recommendations for forward attention and action to bring about early change and improvement. | Taking forward the Government Economic Strategy: A discussion paper on tackling poverty, inequality and deprivation in Scotland. 31st January - 2nd May This discussion paper will help inform the Scottish Government's development of a framework for delivering the aspects of the Government Economic Strategy related to tackling poverty, inequality and deprivation, most prominently reflected in the Solidarity Golden Rule but also in other aspects such as learning, skills, health and wellbeing. |
