Applications will only be considered from properly constituted community groups or voluntary groups. |
| Grants Online | Grants Online is designed to maximise funding opportunities for public, private and
community based organisations and partnerships by:
|
| GrantsNet | GrantsNet gives information about grant schemes available to businesses and charities in the UK. Here you will find comprehensive information about grant support schemes for UK businesses and charities. GrantsNet aims to reduce the efforts and costs, of identifying and applying for a grant. |
| Heritage Lottery Fund - Young Roots | This programme is designed for organisations that work with people aged 13 to 20
(or 13 to 25 for young people with additional learning needs). You will need to be
able to show your project will be youth-led. Youth groups must also work with at
least one heritage partner to deliver the project, (e.g. your local wildlife trust
or museum).
Young Roots aims to involve young people in finding out about their heritage, developing skills, building confidence and promoting community involvement. Your project must show how young people are managing and participating in the project. Your project needs to have a history/heritage focus. For example, it could involve young people researching the history of their village or town, or doing practical conservation work on a nature reserve. |
| Ibrahim Foundation | The Mohammad Ibrahim Foundation is a private independent grant making foundation. Grants are made to organisations which aim to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK, both now and in the future. The Foundation considers work which others may find hard to fund, perhaps because it breaks new ground, appears too risky, requires core funding, or needs a more unusual form of financial help such as a loan. |
| LanKellyChase Foundation | Concentrate on smaller charities, many of whom will have only a local or regional remit. Will consider applications from large national charities but support will be rare and limited. |
| Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland | A grantmaking trust distributing in excess of £6 million each year to recognised charities throughout Scotland. Their aim is to support and work in partnership with charities which help people, especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled to play a fuller role in communities throughout Scotland. |
| NHS Health Scotland | Health Scotland works closely with a range of national partners including The Confederation of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA), Communities Scotland, the Food Standards Agency, Community Health Exchange (CHEX) and Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS). |
| O2 It’s Your Community award | Awards of up to £1,000 are available to local groups and individuals for anything that can be shown to benefit your community. |
| Paths to Health | When resources allow, Paths to Health seeks to fund new and innovative ways of promoting walking for health, and can provide grant funding to support this. Paths to Health can only consider funding for projects operating in Scotland. |
