Heritage Lottery Fund - Young RootsThis programme is designed for organisations that work with people aged 13 to 20 (or 13 to 25 for young people with additional learning needs). You will need to be able to show your project will be youth-led. Youth groups must also work with at least one heritage partner to deliver the project, (e.g. your local wildlife trust or museum).

Young Roots aims to involve young people in finding out about their heritage, developing skills, building confidence and promoting community involvement. Your project must show how young people are managing and participating in the project. Your project needs to have a history/heritage focus. For example, it could involve young people researching the history of their village or town, or doing practical conservation work on a nature reserve.
