The theme of this Master cass is user participation and involvement (issues, choices and impact). Involving users or clients in the running of an organisation has become required paractice. This Master class explores what has been written about the issues and approaches and will include the potential advantages and challenges associated with the 'personalisation' agenda.

Sleep Counsellor Training Course: Behavioural and Cognitive Approaches to the Management of Sleep ProblemsEdinburghA six-day training course in behavioural and cognitive techniques to manage sleep problems of children and young people with additional support needs. This course is designed for professionals with a background in working with children and young people with additional support needs including social workers, doctors, health visitors, psychologists, teachers and nurses and professionals from the voluntary sector. Following training professionals are able to establish and run a sleep counselling service in their local area.

This training course is run by the charity Sleep Scotland, which supports families and carers of children and young people with additional support needs and severe Sleep Problems.
