MSc Health and Social Sciences Queen Margaret University This course will run from October to July next academic year (2007 - 2008) and is delivered on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings for 2 x 12 weeks sessions. It can be taken either full time (Tuesdays and Thursdays) or part time (Tuesdays for the first year and then Thursdays) or over a period of up to 5 years. A lot of the modules that make up this course are of interest to people working in the voluntary sector, with a particular focus on health psychology, health promotion, public health and social policy. The course focus on the links between theory, research and practice and also include a research project conducted over the summer. It also articulates with our professional doctorate in health and social sciences so will be of interest to anyone that is interested in developing their practice and engage in research. Health Behaviour Change - Training for Trainers Course 28th - 30th May, The Royal Hotel Lodge, Bridge of Allan, Stirling This course is designed for you if you are an experienced Health Behaviour Change (HBC) practitioner, who has a role to train others and can evidence an underpinning knowledge of Health Behaviour Change approaches.
